Recent Business Networking Installation
This is an example of a recent business installation that was a particular challenge, the client wanted a network that would be robust and reliable, however remotely controllable, as this was a mobile installation that moved from site to site. The high ceiling runs, dense, sometimes metal walls, and overall mobile nature of the site proved to be challenging, but not insurmountable.
Byte Sized networks was able to configure a link through an industrial cellular modem, to a UDM Pro which acted as a security gateway and managed the routing, from there, a hard wired connection allows the local file server secure access to the internet for uploads to HQ. a remote access protocol allows support staff to access said file server remotely and securely.
Meanwhile two access point spread approximately 200’ apart provide seamless and continuous WiFi coverage for both permanently installed hardware, as well as easy access for the staff on site to connect their personal devices and stay in communication with both HQ, and their fiends and family.
This whole site is also remotely managed, our technicians can, and have remotely accessed the hardware to change configurations and help troubleshoot when a recent move caused some equipment to be disconnected and connected back incorrectly. Byte Sized Networking technicians regularly monitor the site to make sure all systems and devices are up to date and running smoothly.
